Jaye began her 32 year career while attending Georgia State University (GSU) in Atlanta, Georgia.  Jaye holds a bachelors degree in health administration and accounting and is a master of professional accountancy from GSU. After finishing college in 1981, Jaye relocated to South Florida to pursue her career and her personal interests.  Jaye expanded her education in the paralegal certification program at Broward Community College in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.    

Jaye relocated to Seminole County in 2008 after her daughter, Heather started College at UCF.  Jaye has been a single mom for the past 21 years and is very excited about seeing her daughter graduate from college in December 2010 and begin her own career.

Jaye started her small business consulting, accounting and tax practice in 2009 and  joined Decision Tree Financial in 2010 contributing her 32 years of varied industry and public accounting experience to the group. Throughout her years in public accounting Jaye held senior and supervisory positions.  In industry, she held the positions of assistant controller, controller, and chief financial officer.

Jaye is an expert problem solver who utilizes her ability to listen and understand where and how her clients need help. Jaye’s commitment and dedication is to help small businesses and the owners achieve their goals.  Jaye is a leader in the area of small business consulting. She uses her extensive business, accounting and tax expertise to help business increase their profits, drive up cash flow and reduce taxes.
